If it's like the 16+, edit inst, midi status = midi or external,
Edit track, multi in midi chan = (1-8).
Edit system midi... Basechan pressure= channel or key? Try both.
Midi in mode = multi
Midi controllers = on
Midi program change = on
Multi controllers = on

Pm me a phone number if that doesn't help

I've tried searching but I couldn't find a thing. Can you control the pitch through midi using the EPS-16 to trigger sounds? I basically want to load a bass sound on my MPC-60, and then change the tuning of it through my EPS, it'd be better than loading on sound on 4 pads just and mess with the tuning on the 60. Thanks.

If you want to do it like the sp1200 i dont think its possible. You are better off loading the sample into the eps, copying it, tune each, and then triggering from the mpc or keyboard.

or

load it up on the mpc60, turn on 16 levels and trigger from the eps. you cant tune each sample though.

thanks for the quick reply. yea I figured that would be the only way. that's what I do now but I was bored, found a midi cable laying around and wanted to see if I can midi them together to do that. but thanks once again. peace

I think i heard somewhere that something like that was possible through midi. something like finding the midi cc's etc etc. But im sure it would be one of those secrete where only a few would know.

Is this your video?

Stereo sample is 2 voices.
Mono sample is 1 voice.

http://www.vintagesynth.com/ensoniq/ens_eps16.php

If you have 20 (7-20 voices per eps+ specs) samples (mono) going you will need to check EPS+ polyphony
because 21st sample will be cut. Polyphony is ability of a machine to play a voice at the same time. If you use more voices (samples) than the EPS+ limit you will have this problem. The vid REALLY seems to be a polyphony problem.
