ALMOST THERE

I got the old Turntable with a new 201 25$ needle, and i can hear the records through a little speaker built into the old technics(didnt even know it had one of those), and of course its a real low sound

question is.. if im copping a cheap phono preamp to out to my mpc with the turntable inputting into the preamp, and my speakers that ive always used with making beats plugged into the phones jack on the back of the mpc, am i going to have a good enough sound sampling/in general through my speakers (will i hear a nicer sound now that the turntables into the phono preamp, preamps out to the mpc and speakers are in the phones jack?

Your going to get the best quality the needle can produce so im not really sure what your question is.

are you sure your not just hearing the needle on the record because that makes the real low sound your talking about

its a technics sl 5200, and its the music, but just real low, out of the built in speaker or whatever

anyone know how much the red and white cables are for outting to the mpc from the phono preamps?...

RCA cables? They are a couple of bucks depending on length. You can get a BS pair from Radio shack or any local electronics spot.

well the other day i was in the mall and went to source by circuit city aka radioshack lol, im like do you guys have phono preamps? the **** guys just like... no. we dont.

so, basically i gotta go out and still get rca cables, and a store that sells cheap phono preamps, and then i wont have to sample shit off my ipod anymore hahaha
