The Best Mixing Question ever i think!!!

how do engineers usually go about fixing things before the mix persae gettin levels rite N how do u setup a Daw to use all of the speaker because all of my mixes sound mono 4 sum reason and im really trying to get a mix 2 where it competes wit the pros are there any templates for mixer setups in sonar 4?

Templates / presets don't help for mixing.

mixing ultimately depends on YOUR ear.
presets cant hear the sound you want to make, so they wont adjust the sound to your taste.

what i meant are there any setups or plugins i need 2 drop in the mixer or main channel that can make my tracks sound more spreaded across the speakers

its called panning. every DAW and mixer has this function.

Working with panning and also with reverbs and delays help making your mixes sound wider and deeper! Do a bit of research yourself. There are s many books, magazine articles and websites on how to mix!
