Loading custom samples through compact flash

I was was trying to load a sample that I have in Pro Tools onto my MPC 1000

I exported the audio region as a wav file and loaded it to the compact flash, but when I try to load it on the MPC to work with it, it says 'wrong file'.

You need to verify that it is the correct type of WAV (there are several). You also need to be sure that it is 16bit @ 44.1

My advice is to bounce the region down as a stereo interleaved WAV or the easiest way......Sample it.
