Recording time issue

When I'm recording a drum track ur doesn't loop right. Even when I change the time signature it's either to long or not long enough! Is there anything else I can do???

what are you doing using a time signature other than 4/4?

its either not looping right because your cut is wrong on the sample or the tempo you are trying to loop to is wrong. And changing the time signature? If your making hip hop it would most likely be 4/4

I am making hip hop, or trying anyway. I need one more click though when im recording and the only way i could figure out how to do this is by changing the time signature. so if someone could tell me how to add just a quarter of a second even. I appreciate the help so far.

Im just trying to loop the drum track i create. I will make a drum track but need a half second more. So basically when i am creating a drum track it doesnt loop back right because i need another beat.
