Reviews and questions about the entry-level MPC500
By JP_UK_PRODUCER Tue Mar 10, 2009 11:13 pm
AT THE MOMENT I HAVE A YAMAHA MO6 THATS LINKED TO CUBASE ON MY LAPTOP THROUGH A USB CABLE, I ALSO HAVE TURNTABLES WHERE I WOULD LIKE TO SAMPLE SOME OF THE VYNALS I HAVE. I WAS THINKING OF BUYING THE MPC500 BUT I WOULD LIKE TO KNO IF I COULD HOOK UP THE MPC, MO6 AND TURNTABLES TO CUBASE ON MY LAPTOP AND IF SO WHAT WILL I NEED (EG. MIXER)?

ALSO WOULD I BE ABLE TO ADD TO THE SAMPLED MATERIAL FROM THE MPC ON CUBASE WITH THE MO6?

THANKS

hmmm, i'm not sure but doesn't cubase have some sort of vst sampler? and can't you just trigger the samples in cubase by way of the yamaha mo6 thru MIDI?

does the mo6 sample? if it does, u do not need an mpc.
everything u wrote is possbile. but i suggest u sit down with the equiptment u have and learn it inside out.
and its vinyl, and vinyl is singular and plural.
