I want to know if old sound libraries such as miroslav vitous or giorgio moroder synths or
any of that old stuff using multisampled keygroup programs in
S1000/3000 format load correctly using the built in cdrom.
I dont have a cdrom in my unit, and am using my old s1000 libraries by
converting them on the pc using cdXtract, then transferring to the 5k hard drive.
when I load them into the 5k, the samples all are pitched at C3, so the keygroups all need
to be re-tuned to playback correctly(funny thing is,my akai Z4 sampler plays them back just fine...)
does this happen when you load from the cdrom, or could it be a cdXtract or software translation thing?
Garthe-do you have any thoughts on this ??
anyone have some s1000 discs laying around that would check this out ?
thanks!
