capabilities and functions

I gota MPC2500,MAC BOOK which got logic8,reason,ableton live lite 5.I would like to know if MPC2500 can be used with Logic or any of those software above . Will it be recognized ? If so , what capabilities and functions do they have ?

I use Logic & my 25k together all the time. You can have your 25k set up to act as a midi controller for the internal Logic sounds or lay audio tracks individually from your MP by having Logic as the Master (midi synch) and the MP as the slave, then add logic sounds over that. There's a lot of possibilities in there.

if you have a mbox or something to that affect plug the line outs of that into the record in on your 2500 works good with reason just play your melodys of reason onto your mpc.

That is a good idea to use mcp2500 as midi contraler.i got a m-audio fast track pro , i connect both together with midi cables but i dont really know how to set it up on logic ?!

and what is the different between master and slave ?
