Anyone have a DVD player in their 4k?

The hard drive is IDE I assume? I seem to think it is IDE and not scsi...

dont think u shouldnt back up ur stuff off the hard drive....if that fails,,u'll be writing a whole other post on how to get it back..

No I passed on that.

Don't need it I have a 120 gig HD & CDR built in as well as a few usb flash drives that covers everything I need.

I also had the OG desk star but swapped it out after talking to FORAT about it.
He recommended replacing it, so I did the swap myself have a Seagate now..

Von, what is the model of Seagate drive you installed? Can you go above 120 gig internally?

120 is the limitation of the file format.

I just went to a computer store & got a seagate 3.5 IDE internal hard drive I forgot what exact model it was.
the max the 4k will read is 120 so if you get bigger its just wasted.
