Triggering issues

Hey there,

I hope someone can help me.

I cant seem to trigger any samples on my MPC1000, Innitially I tried my own samples that I imported from my pc and when that didn't work i just used the default fatory presets.

I have audio coming out, I have auditioned the samples through the load window and they are in the system and the pads are working as I tested those too.

If anyone has any suggestions how I can overcome this I'd be very graeateful. It's probably one thing thats really obvious.

assign them to a program?

how low is your master level?

were you born in 99? just curious

I've tried turning up the master level, rec level and main Volume up and to no avail.

By "Program" I mean a collection of samples saved into a folder that you can later assign to pads to create a sequence.

Finally, no i wasn't born in 99, it was just a name I came up with on the fly.

I'm assuming you only got your "expert member" status due to your amount of unhelpful posts and not because you can actually use an mpc.

has it worked in the past and suddenly stopped functioning properly?

Yeah it has worked before.

Just not sure what is going on.
