I'm a gear whore

I had a little extra money from the last pay check. I didnt' have anything to buy, then after screwing around on ebay, I copped a ASR-10. What the hell is wrong with me? I barely can make a beat, I might sell it if I don't like it.

If you use your gear to make money, than why not? You need tools to get the job done. If you don't make any money from your music (like myself), then think of it as a good healthy hobby. Yet unlike collecting baseball cards or pez candy dispensers, you can have alot more fun with it... I can't help myself, if I am working, I am going to score gear. I just have to learn to sell some of it off if it is just collecting dust. Just let the guilt go man...

Yea man my shit from '98 Is just chilling in the base ment, I went to cash converters and sold 4 sp 202s, kaos pad, and dr 505 got like $400 good deal for me. I got somuch other stuff too.

With all due respect, you don't know what a gear whore is. 8) I've got 10k in my Pro Tools system and I wasn't prepared to ever spend more than about 2k. It's a sickness, I tell ya.

Unlike others I suffer from GEAR LUST, he who wants to buy but must tell himself he should not untill he has some proper tracks... but yet wants all the new shit OH SO BAD!!!

Right now Im lusting over:
Yamaha 01v
Lexicon MPX500
Line 6 Pod Pro
Abelton Live 4

If you want to get rid of your gear why not contact me and I will take it off your hands for 50% of what its worth...
