No offence to you, but its pretty well known that the MS2000 sounds like utter s.h.i.t ..... Very limited Note Polyphony and average sounding filters... !!!

This may be slightly off topic, but doesn't Lil' John use a Novation of some sort for his signature rave/horn bass lines?

Wait, I read that here...

My question was, though, do all the Novation sounds sound that polished? You know how the Lil' John b-lines have that sheen to 'em? I suppose without reverb or whatever they might sound a lil' nastier...

Novations are certainly nice machines... I would say a Novation or a Virus sound very very nice and smooth indeed with little extra needed...!!!

Because they are capable of so many simultaneous voices you can create some very detailed patches... layering.... etc.,

Ever considered layering Bass patches? well you should.....

why is no one giving ups to the nord lead?!?!?! I tried the virus but hated the interface, plus all the factory patches I listened 2 were atmospheric pads and stuff. not thats thats a good judge of what a board can do...
but yeah they all seemed as though they relied on the effects too much...

Is that dude fa real about the yamaha psrs?!?!? how funny...

my old analog yamaha sy2 can shake the fkn walls like a mofo, have never put it on a track cos its not midi and I never had a sampler b4 da 4k....will do 2night...
