Hi! i own a mpc1000-bk
my pads work and i do not have to hit them "with a hammer"
(like described by people who complain on the old bad pads)

mine are pretty sensitive and work ok.... i think..?
(i have never used any other pad device so i can not compare it to other mpc models)

but the problem is that alot of times when i hit a pad it glitches and register 2 quick hits when im actually just hitting it once, **** up the beat and sometimes i have to undo and record 20 times in order to get it right, this is very frustrating.

Is this because lack of mpc skill , the old mpc1000bk pads or my OS version?

i now use free jjos 3.08 because i cant afford the os1+2 right now

. will os1/2 sensitivity settings fix this problem?
or should i buy the EXPENSIVE pad upgrade?

Thank you

That happens to me sometimes when I am hitting the pad with two fingers. The second finger actually strikes a split second after the first finger. Otherwise make sure it is a clean confident hit. If you hesitate right as you are hitting this may aslo cause a double tap.

no my finger dont bounce"
no im not 100% sure i have the old pads.. i did try to poke one and lift the edge up..

only the one i poke move and i cannot lift the edge up like someone described.. my down cursor button is pretty weak i have to push it hard to work so i need to open up and check soon. im in a studio right now and the mpc is at home..

is there any solution to fix the cursor down button without buying a new one? any way to clean the thingy or anything?
