MPC Pro Tools 8 Stereo Track problem

So I have synced up Pro Tools 8 as my master and slaved the Mpc..the problem is I have a kick is stereo according to my individual bus output is 1,2. But when record it slaved to a stereo track on pro tools, the kick is only be recorded on the left side. But the kick cant be a mono sample bc the individual bus output is 1,2. Does this make sense? HEELLLP!!

yeah but when i set the track for mono, the kick doesnt play at all. what do i do?

Ohhh ok cool man! I know there's an easier way to make the kick sample mono in my mpc besides resampling the kick but I forgot. Can you guys tell me how? Thanksss!!

You need to convert. Go to your Sample and hit Open Window and convert from Mono to Stereo.
