MPC 1000's pads different from the others? (eg. MPC 5000?)

don't be afraid to diy, it's gotten me into some crazy stuff

ummmm... just to update... it is now 6 layers....

really so far... the more layer it is, the better it feels...

It's kind of a mess... I think the silicon way is a lot neater!

Does anyone know what type of pads mpcstuff/vst has?
Is it the elder gen type of pad sheet, or the stiff new ones they've putted in the 5000,2500 and 4000?

gosh i wanna know that too!! if it's the stiffer one then I will definitely give it a try! They feels quite good!

I have asked mpc stuff once about the black replacement pads (just the pads), that if they are any different from the grey ones. They said it feels exactly the same as the original ones on 1000.

But I am wondering if the New Pads Set has different pads than the original.

I have had my 2500 for a few days and still have my 2kxl hanging around, and to my fingers the pads feel almost identical. I'm very happy I didn't settle for the 1k.
