The MPC2000XL has a picture of the wave for the sample, and I know the MPC60 doesn't. Does the 60 just have numbers like the ASR-10 does?

yup, but its layout is cool, soft start, soft end, and total sample time.

does the mpc 2k automatically pick up attack points ? like recycle ?
also, anyone know about the tap tempo average, i know its on the 2k, but is it on the mpc 60, or 3k ?? seems like it should be...

oh yeah, the tap tempo 4 tap average is in the 60 and probably the 3k, look under other if the 3k has such a button. It's where the metronome is.
