Hard Drive freeze at saving process and undeletable folders

Hi!

I'm using my black MPC with akai os 2.11 with a 60gb toshiba hard drive.
First time, when it was installed it worked fine, but after a few weeks it started freezing when I tried to save my 4 hours of work...
I wanted to create a new folder but after I hit F5 (ENTER, the name of the new folder) the MPC was suddenly frozen...
I had to restart it, and guess what, the new folder appeared on the hard drive BUT it was undeletable. (nor via my notebook, when the MPC was connected...)

The funny part came after this: I wanted to load a previously working sequnece with all its samples and programs from a totally different folder, but one of my programs was dead, it didn't loaded. I've tried to load the program separetly, but my lil MPC said: "wrong file". For the pgm file?! It has only 4 caracters. All the samples in it are 16bit 44.1, and none of them are more than 16 characters...

I'm really pissed, becuse this whole procedure happens for the THIRD time, since I installed the hard drive...

I'd backup your data to your notebook and then use akai OS to reformat the 60gb drive. You might be hitting a filesystem bug which will only get worse as you use it.

Yep... Been there, done that. for the third time
(forgot to mention, this is my second hard drive doin this crazyness...)

Upgrade to the free jjos 3.08, and format your hard drive and CF card with that. Otherwise, you're just asking for a fourth time.

I thought (perhaps incorrectly) that akai os 2.11 (or was it 2.12) fixed the drive issues.
