Wonder what the new MPC model will be...

2500 with 5000 diplay size, 512MB RAM and size of an 1000 for 1000Bugs.#

Im wondering of the lindrumm2 will be also a full fledged Midi Sequencer and if it will have
the same sampling capabilities like the MPC.

If Akai made a 2500 in a compact version like the 500 with 16 pads I think that would be killer.

^^^^ i hope that beat thang really lives up to its specs, at a price of 1000.00 with specs like that, plus a bigger, color screen. this is 2009, and akai is still up to the same shit, i want to see a Indy company win here, im tired of big business getting the best of everyone, and charging a arm and a leg to do it..i mean akai should not have come out with the 5000, they should have improved what they already have out, i mean what happened to the 4000? why not improve the os on the 500?

Akai is a past legacy now, like Ford. They had the quality but now its about collecting off the quantities just because it has the name printed on it. If the BeatThang comes correct, then I'll cop one.
