Thanks! Anyone want to buy it? 8) This thing is modded up with the blue led's, blue screen, woodies, new pads and the paint. Only a little funkyness on some of the lettering. It also has all the original parts (black case and plastic sides)

or if anyone is looking for a job like this, pm me...

did you paint that jog wheel white yourself? [i'm assuming]... how well is it holding up?

the white pads look pretty sweet on the blue mpc1000... i just ordered the glow-in-the-dark pads for my black mpc1000, so i'll be posting some pics in the near future as well...

The end caps and the jog wheel were both painted with white Krylon Fusion paint made just for plastics. I gave them both 4-5 coats so I've noticed no chipping or cracking whatsoever. All the buttons are stock, none of those are painted. Surprisingly, the white pads are not a dirt magnet like I thought they would be, I've been using them for over a month and I don't notice any signs of grime or discoloration.

the glow-in-the-dark pads got here sooner than i'd expected... i didn't hesitate to install them this afternoon and take some pics. here they are freshly installed in the daytime:

i'd say the rubber material feels pretty similar to the grey/factory pads... if anything, the pads may be just a little bit stiffer & smoother on top, but they react the same as the pads i just replaced.

they glow pretty well, but not as strong as other glow-in-the-dark things i've had as a kid. they would probably look ILL with a black light though. i had to charge them for a couple minutes with a lamp to snap this pic here in the dark:

overall, i'm pleased with the purchase... i like the way they blend with the green screen and LEDs.

now i just wanna get some wooden side panels and i think i'll be done pimpin'...

Super good looking MPC, mans. I really like the "classic" kind of colour, and the changes to the volume and recording level knobs (ie: more DOD stompbox style) are awesome.

Is that a styleflip skin, MY1K or did you paint / screenprint the faceplate?
