MPC3000 + Software

Hello. I am planning to sell my MPC4000 as I feel like computer would have better software sampler than the Z4/8 built in. There is also some other funcions that I don't like on MPC4000. I do love how MPC3000 sounds and I think it's the best sound of all MPC, maybe the best is wrong word, but I like 3K sound the most.
So what would be disadventages of this switch? Is software sampler really better than hardware sampler (in this case it is Z4/8). From informations that I've collected and from my point of view I think software sampler is better. What is your opinion? Is someone running this setup? What are adventages and disadventages of this?
Ah and I would like to add that 24bit is not so big thing for me.

My personal preference is hardware when your talking about sampling. Software just doesn't have the right sound that I want from it. Software to me sounds to flat for my taste. I sample on the MP and then maybe dump into Pro Tools and **** with it and then back to the MP but that's only once in awhile since I don't like going back and forth between the 2 that much.

It is all what you want urself, no1 can decide this for you. Dont know if it helps you, but softwaresamplers and looking at the screen to long bore me to dead, it makes me actually uncreative I find. I am so happy with my 60 and 500 mainly cuz there is almost no information to look at, it just you and the pads

But yea this is just personal.

Belive me, it is **** hard in my country to try MPC3000. . Seems I'm going to keep my 4K until I move to USA.
