USB Mass storage card help!

when i connect my MPC to the computer the computer recognize it but i am unable to open or add anything to the storage card because of an I/O error. whats an I/O error and how can i stop it from happening?. please help.

i'm not sure. try reformating the card on the mp. go to utilities and format it. just make sure you have everything on the card backed up on the computer cuz it will erase everything. also, maybe the card isnt one that works with the 1k. i dunno. some don't.

u could try to put the cf card in the mp and plug the usb..
