What Up Everybody, Im A Newbie, I Tried Searching For A Solution, Thought I Found One But It Didnt Work. Im tryin To Record From My Fantom Via Midi, The MPC Responds But I Cant Get Any Sound, The Post That I Read Said To Connect The Outputs From The Keyboard To The MPC, With The MP Set As The Master And The Fantom Set As The Slave But I Get The Same Results, Can I Get A Little Help Please???

Then turn on the MPC input with the little button to the right of the screen. Turn it on to analog if you are using RCA and digital if you are using S/pdif! Forget that master and slave shit. You aren't syncing the two.

MIDI doesn't transmit sound. you need to have the audio outputs from your Fantom going somewhere.

No, you are using midi. But master and slave are terms used when syncing two or more pieces of hardware via midi (or SMPTE), which is not what you are trying to do. All you are trying to do is transmit midi messages/notes.

I Got It Finally, On The Fantom You Have To Set The Local Control Switch To On, I Had To Lose Alot Of My Custom Patches On My Board To Learn That But It Doesnt Matter, Im A Proud Owner Of An Akai MPC 2500, That Makes Up For It.
