MPC wont play back correct midi

Hey whats up? I just picked up my brand new 2500 but I have a problem.

I grabbed a sample pack from loopmasters and put it in my mpc.
but when i try to record a simple beat, the mpc will play back the wrong recorded notes (usually plays ALL the notes recorded to the first pad)... Anyone know what is going on here?

What are you talking about? You don't record notes to pads. You assign 1-4 sounds to a pad and record the pads to a track/s. And what you are describing has nothing to do with midi. Here, watch some vids and read the manual: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_t ... +2500&aq=f

Sorry, I don't think I explained my problem correctly.

I can record a simple beat with a stock program just fine with no problems...


I got a Loopmasters sample pack with premade programs.
If I hit the pads the I can hear the samples play just like they should

But if I record hitting the pads, it will play back different pads than I recorded

Ohh! I see. Sounds like something wrong with sound pack or your MPC. The pads should play the same whether in record, playback or stop. Try updating to the lastest OS if you haven't and try again!
