Hello world

Unfortanetly i deleted the standard program called "basses" as i moved them onto my computer.

Can somebody please send me that program?

i'd be really glad if somebody could send me that, without basses, what's a beat worth :) .. thank you fam.

Other programs are also accepted ;)

and if i'm already writing (not important):

what about that JJ OS?
Is it extremely difficult to handle?
I just started with the mpc 1000 and i'm reading the manual at the moment. Will the JJ OS be confusing for me?
What are the advantages?

Are there any other updates that keep the standard OS working, but with some modifications, for example the 16 levels tune without tempo change?

you probably wont get that pgm here. there are no standard programs. and as for the jjos. just install it and go for it. its no harder to learn than any other os. and even the free version is more stable than the stock os.

basses program:

there were about 20 30 programs on my mpc as i bought it.

should i ask my retailer about that?

what about other sample, program exchanges between users of this forum?

concerning os / compatibility with the manual:

i heard that the jj os is good, better.. but, which way would you choose / have you chosen:
............................................................>base os>manual>jj os.........or..............base os>jj os>manual?
what's the best way to learn everything about the mpc and its possibilities?
i'm learning it all myself.

my base os sucks. if i choose 16 levels, tune.. there's also a tempo change between each button, i heard the new os only changes the height, depth of the sample without tempo changing.. am i wrong for that?

sorry for my english..

As for your bass program you deleted, it should be on the compact flash card that came with your unit...If you dont have that card then just hold down the erase button on your mpc and turn on your mpc at the same time your bass program should come back or you can go to AKAIPRO.com and go to products and click it wait here is the link..... just fill out the form and click download there go homie.... http://www.akaipro.com/contentmgr/showd ... hp/id/5373 I hope this helps...Holla

oh thank you very much fam. i'll try as soon as i'm in my studio.

where's the best place to search for samples?

I know how to cut them out of tracks, i even bought recycle, and i have some drum kits. Plus i'm using wave samples from the magix music studio :P.

Where else could i find some nice samples or even mpc programs?

i like that pete rock-dilla-9th wonder kind of style. but powerful orchester samples are also welcome.

edit: oh yeah, i forgot. sometimes when i want to add samples from the flash card, it says "file not found!". wtf?

cool it should work for you and the issue with the file not found..Doing the Erase thing i told you could help that or it may be your file is bad or just not a file the mpc reads... And for getting sounds i get stuff from ebay and off of torrent sites. I did buy the vintage beat machines from AKAI and its not any better then the stuff i get from ebay and torrents. it was just over priced...I hope you find some dope kits and sounds and all works out for you man...talk to you soon

the akai os is known for glitching the file system and damaging stuff on your cf card. install the free jjos and move on. as far as sharing pgm's here on the forum. theres nothing wrong with it. what i meant was most people fing the stock stuff that comes with the mpc cheesy and delete it. so it might be hard to find that exact pgm. if you need stuff just ask. i got qall kinds of pgms. send me your email and ill hook you up
