syncronizing loops to tempo

What is the best way to syncronize a sample loop to the internal preset drum sequence programs?when i assign a loop sample to one of the pads the tap tempo only works for the preset drum kits and its quite difficult to tight them together to the same tempo.

I use the tune feature at times to make the loop fit, sure it affects the tuning, but sometimes that's just fine. Otherwise use timestretch on your computer.

Speaking of computers is there a software out for PC users?

A software out for computers? Of course! Cool Edit aka Adobe Audition, Sound Forge, etc. etc. plus various sequencers like Logic, Cubase, Nuendo etc. Any of these will do a timestretch,

no sorry i meant a mpc1000 interactive software? i hear there is only one out for macs...It would be wonderful i find the mpc1000 a bit tedious to work with sometimes...or maybe ive gotten used to computers and big screens...

There's Mac package for building Programs, and a similar one for the PC, but that's all they do. There is no "ak.sys" type all-in-one environment where you can stretch samples, lay them out over key ranges, or do other fancy stuff, for the MPC1000 (yet).

Since the MPC1000 uses standard WAV files, I prefer the flexibility of using any PC WAV manipulation tools I can get my hands on, instead of expecting one program to do it all. And building PGMs on the MPC1000 itself gets very quick with a little experience...
