hi im new to the moc game too, i was wondering what the assignable outputs on the 1k are for?
i want to sample from my turntable and add drums then put into a sequencer like pro tools and after thats done put in sounds from my motif rack, i want pro tools 2 record the audio not midi and do not want my rack and mpc midi'd together. i have no idea how to set this up can someone please help

man, i keep telling these kids, just mess with it!!! look around. press the buttons and see what they do... instead of posting and waiting for an answer... just mess with the damn thing and figure something out.


man, if only i could buy gear like its nothing like half of these kids. sorry no pun, its just that a lot of people come in here (and many other forums) and post that they bought all these crazy gear and have the noobiest questions about them.

Give the guy a break...
Look, basically all you need is an audio interface so you can record any or all your samples from your MPC to any DAW you prefer....and thats it!!!!!!!!!
Go for it and be creative...

yeah its just funny how people arent willing to help someone out. i have messed with it. for hours. i have done all sorts of research and i got down the basics. i have made a couple beats, i just want some insight to getting better. if the tutorial is what i need then ill mos def get it. and thank you all for the help on what i need and what not, but ill just remember how oh dude a couple posts ago treated me and not do that to someone in the future. gotta break the cycle somehow right???

I do not mean any disrespect or whatsoever, but when you think you need a motif rack to get sounds cuz some guy in youtube video uses it..... you need to learn more bro, we can not give you everything in nice bitesize chunks.
