Going to give them demo a try. The price isnt to bad either.

Reminds me of Izotope RX, and or the Melodyne DNA (but not as deep).

Well I guess the day is coming were I don need to erase the overtones one by one in Auditions spectral analyze.
Nice find. I found another program that do something like a resampling and can be used as "Isolator" too. I forgot the name ...

I thought I was the only one hip to that! I did that very thing to Isolate Barry Whites strings cause couldn't find anything like em'...
I've been wanting to share this trick with peeps, but the whole process is to tech for most of the folks I know who make beats.

Never used Audition, but wonder how it compares to to Auditions spectral analyze or others similar programs..

The process in Audition needs much more time cause it cant be done with a spraycan. You must select the parts one by one. Just open the spectral analyse view, zoom in, choose the Marquee Selection Tool, select the part you want to edit and press del (or go to amplify and turn down the volume of the selection.

What also kinda cool about audition is, once you've selected a section with the marquee tool you either delete the section, or even process the selection with normalization or effects or anything really. The only real difference is your not just selecting a time section like on a normal waveform. Your selecting time and frequency space.

Photo sounder will Mos Def have a spot on my HD though cause it's seems more "specialized". Shoot you can make loopoints In AA all day, but I still keep seamless looper nearby!

Yeah, Photosounder does seem to be more specialized. Seems like the developer is really into it.

Me to!! I also seen this plugin for mac that can apply filters to audio from pictures, forgot the name of it, will have to look for it (wish i could find a PC version).

Hey talking about this stuff reminds me at a Track of "Aphex Twin" were used this method (picture to sound conversion) to make his face audiable (and of course visible for people with an audio editor). I guess he wanted to be really into music

I just talked to a guitar center rep about that izotope rx. I have some old vinyl i was looking to preserve and restore using that izotope. Can it produce similar results as this photosounder. The rep only described it as a "restoration program" to remove clicks, pops, hum, etc. This photosounder looks pretty sweet at first glance and even sweeter at $32!

Yeah, the price is pretty nice!! If it doesnt work out, I wont feel so bad, compared to other software i have spent money on.
