after im done sampling. Why does the sample sound much lower than the volume I've recording in?

like, in the keep or retry screen. when I press play to audition the sample its lower and also when I assign to pad.
and "full level" buttons on. still lower volume than the original input ?

does this go for every 5000? is this the bit rate in effect or what ?

if you are re-sampling from the main outs, ...you have to hit 'mode' and then hit 'other', ...in that menu you will see the output volume setting on the main out.

i know its kinda awkward, ...but you can now choose many options with OS2, ...like -36, -24, -12, -6, 0, etc.

this might make it sound crazy loud on your speakers, just turn the main volume knob down.

if you are not re-sampling, ..then i guess its something to do with the record knob and your audio path into the mpc.

hope this helps.

thanks man good to know,

but i think i solved it i had the input on main-out. I switched to analog. and found that what ever was playing from the input

doubled or phased. so i then just shut monitor off. and everything played perfect. plus better levels. wow, im slow sometimes.

loving this machine more n more each waking day!!!!!
