Should we make some rules? So that I'm not tempted to just use a beat I already made.

Instrumentation is cool with me. What do you play?

I don't care if you use a beat you already made it's up to you. The newer the better I guess but it doesn't really matter. I'm in the middle of one right now that I was going to use. I'll probably be done about this time tomorrow.

I have a midi keyboard but I don't consider myself a player since I couldn't play any song front to back. I just use it to compose beats in reason when I'm not sampling on the E-Mu SP.

I'm going to start working on a sample-free beat right now (aside from drums) and see what happens.

Deadline at Friday, 5pm KC time?

And I'll have decided what I'll use by then I guess.

The shots aren't falling tonight. My Moog and Rhodes both need serviced and my guitar beats always sound weaker than my other shit.

Also like the idea of using the same sample so you can compare the way it's flipped.

just pick whatever, and tell me some rules and lets do it.
