will plugging my external scsi drive into my PC mess with the partitions like it does on zip disks?

my little 380 meg drive is getting full and im thinking i can transfer everything to my pc and folder it up nicely. i don't see why i couldn't do it, but i got scared cause of all the wierd shit i hear about with zips and partitions....

im not trying to have them all connected all the time, just want to clear off the drive and start filling it up again.

Do not connect an external SCSI drive that you use with your MPC onto your PC. Once you format that drive as a MPC drive, its partitions cannot be read by the PC. It will read just the firt partition and usually it will eventually write something to the drive that will damage it so that the MPC can't see it either.

Do a search on this site for more info on this subject of SCSI and particularly zip drives.

Peace.
