****Replacing your LCD screen****

Does anyone know if the blue lcd from Futurelec.com is the same one they're selling at needlework.com and mpcstuff.com?

Yo, so I have a question to whoever started this post or knows about how these screens work. I just ordered mine from Needlewerk and I have it in. It came with a ribbon so I'm good on that. But, it didn't come with the ground or earth wires installed. Do I have to desolder those and put them on the new screen or will it work without those wires?

desolder them from the old screen and put them on the new one. don't cut corners.

So, I put my screen on and as pumped as I was to get it, I'm not really feeling it. I almost like my green one better. So, with that being said, if anyone wants to buy my blue 2500 screen from me, hit me up at [email protected]

I'll sell it for really cheap. I just don't want to waste it. So yeah, hit me up at the email - not on here. I may not check this post.

i have the red screen from needlewerk and i didnt have to de-solder the earth wires,,the only thing they will do is hold ur contrast after its been unplugged.....so if u dont want to mess with these wires,you dont have to,,but everytime u unplug,you will have to adjust ur contrast...but if u leave it plugged in most of the time,then ur good!!

not the same..same design and functionality but not the same..

Gday, Thanks so much for this niceee post. I got my screen in today, the same one from futurlec as a few
people from here have tried.
Im curious are you guys also getting a different colour blue ring around the outside, the only way i can make
them really match is to turn the contrast up so much the text is almost black.

I'm in search of the specs for the replacement lcd screen for the mpc 2000xl.
Possibly a site to purchase it as well. I have a fixer upper mpc and want to get started making beats again.

the one listed appears ro be incorrect and actuall a sewing/needlwork site?!
