which CF cards are working?

hi there!
I read a topic here about a bad CF card during OS2 installation. I think it was a Kingston 2GB card. I'm about to get me a larger CF and don't want to pick a bad one.
How about listing working brands & sizes here?
I have a Sandisk ultraII 512MB and a Kingston 256MB that I used with my MPC1K earlier.

Yes the Kingston 2gb did not work on my os2 install, the 5000 kept giving weird errors on OS install
I ended going with the PNY 1gb from microcenter and that worked without a hitch.
I have heard to go over 4gb at your own risk.
I don't know why guitar center guy said that but I am saying that because it was mentioned to me.

I will also order the memory expansion soon. I wonder if that will improve the sluggish control changes in the synth parameters...
