Right folks im desperate for some help syncing my new 3000 le to my triton...i used to sync my 2500 to the triton but dont comprehend how to do it on the 3000..

Obviously i have the midi out of the 3000 to the midi in of the triton, and the midi in on the 3000 to the midi out on the triton (standard midi handshake)....

From there im kinda lost as to how to get it workin...I used to be able to press record in the mp the same way i would sequence audio and the mp would record the midi notes and quantize accordingly to the mp quantize setting....

I would then go to track two on the mp and track 2 on the triton and record more sounds, then track 3 etc etc.....

I have been using mpc's for years now but mainly sampling and using audio, so this method is new to me and driving me mad.....all i wanna do is sequence the midi music the way its meant to be done....

Im assuming it's a setting in the midi page or the sync page but the options are different to those of the 2500..

Any help would be MASSIVELY appreciated...Truthfully im not experienced in the midi world and am reading as much as poss to try find the answer but have had no joy so far..

Thanks in advance for any help you can give a brother

Shouldn't be much diff then 2500:

Assuming that your midi cables/ audio cables are hooked up right. You should go to you 3000's MIDI settings and make sure you letting MIDI through A. Then go back to main screen of MP. Turn it to MIDI, Track 1A, and change program to No.1-No.128, or just leave it off if you'd like. Go to Triton, select the same MIDI track one, then record on MPC like usual. I don't have a 3000 or triton, I have 60, but I assume its the same. Double check midi, mixer, module volume/s, cables, etc.... Cause alot of the time, you may just be mixing something simple up. Hope this helps.
