F2 key on MPC 2000XL Not Working

Hoping someone can help...A couple of days ago I noticed that the F2 key was losing its connection. Meaning I had to press it real hard to get it to work. Finally, it doesn't work at all.

So..I would just have to change the button?

It sounds like it has completely gone, so yeah i'd look at replacing it.

I was thinking it would be something else, like a chip or something.. You can tell I'm not good at this stuff.
