aKAI PLEASE FIX PATCH PHRASE AND CHOP SHOP!!!!

Come on akai these two technologies have been on the market for years!how hard can i be to come up with an algorithm that works!why doesnt chop shop work like ReCycle?that algorithms been out for over 10 years!we ve spent good money!get it together please!

I'd also like a chopshop feature: I'd like to use the note reapeat button while choppin it up. just setting the note value swing and all that hold down note reapeat shift and start slicing on tempo. i think it would work great with small samples like drums and hits. it would be convenient in allot of ways.as far as timing and finding random sounds in a sample that would flow with your current sequences (tempo) playing

lol. I think at least one decent OS revision will be still in the match for 5000 users, if we compare the usual support time of OS updates on MPCs. My favorite aspects are chop shop improvements as mentioned above, better q-link implementation (see the another thread above), better saving options and easier resampling with fx. Cheers.

a. Add F1 [ADD] and F2 [DELETE] soft-buttons to create slice markers while using data wheel
b. Once a sample is chopped, ability to use pads/pad banks to select regions to edit
c. Allow region start/end points to overlap
d. Add Shift + Pad to [Extract] waveform between start/end points and assign to pad/program
e. Add Convert slice regions to keygroup program
-improve tempo detect accuracy
-Add Scrolling cursor
-Add re-sampler with quick FX to edit options
-Cross fade loop

Q-link
-Add Q-link Modes selectable with shift modifier
A. Global
B. Program (ADSR cutoff etc.) /assignable (appears in APM modulation matrix)

-Add Modulation Matrix
-Add most Synth, Keygroup, Sample program parameters to modulation matrix (reverse and alternating, sample start offset)

Rec Sample
-Add quick FX re-sample Effect/Dynamics (sample through effects/dynamics is much needed)
-Add ability to quick assign newly recorded sample to any program
-Skip back re-sampling feature like Roland Fantoms.

Disk
-Purge – add purge program and purge complete memory
-Save mixer with programs and samples
-Save song + sequences + mixer
-Add ability to save effect sets,
-Increase load and save speeds at least 5X

wow, well written! you should put this also to the feature request thread...

Most of that is from Askia's post for features for a 5k XL. I will post these plus a couple more in the feature thread since these can be in a 3.0 update for the 5k.
