Transferring from 2000 to 3000

I've been a 2000 owner for years now but I'm interested in downgrading to the 3000.. has anyone done this?.. will my programs transfer or do i now have to throw out all my old beats?

you can throw em away.

its all different with the 3000 but you should be able to load the .snd files if you want to use your old samples. for that you got to store them on your pc - get vailixi - and put them to a 3000 formatted zip disc. otherwise: throw em away.

making beats with the 3000 is a completely new experience. keep your 2000 for the case that you dont like it. i bet you never switch that thing on again.

yeah, the biggest difference is no waveform editing (which i believe is an advantage once you get used to it). Overall the 3000 has a much better feel to it which i put down to a combination of the sound, the feel of the buttons/wheel and the menu functionality.

mpc editor you can open your 2000 beats on the 3000

its not a downgrade either you made a major step up

I know that you cant see the waveforms when edidting.. But is start/end attack and decay on the 3000? What about attack and decay on the low pass filter? Still there?
