Screens/LED for 2000 are getting harder to find. I'm annoyed that I have to shell out $300 for a replacement, but the idiot before me left it on for infinite amounts of time. Turn it off when you're done or pay hundreds to replace later. If the work you're doing an MPC is important enough, why wouldn't you save it? I don't care if I'm half asleep, I'm saving my work and samples. On a good day zip disk and hard drives crash & you're risking it by leaving it in RAM? Save your work, turn it off and save some energy! Oh yeah, I left on a Lacie drive for a long time and one day it crashed. All of my stuff was on there with no backup. I had to pay $800 to retrieve all the data.
