Good looks on putting this Kutiman isht on here, I had never seen or more importantly heard it before. And to touch on the topic at hand, sample it all and let the listener sort out what is wack...Yes I am also lazy.

nice!! thanks for the link, i always just run my computer audio out into my mpc and sample youtube that way, but is there is an app that sends you the audio thats even better...

just add "&fmt=22" at the end of the url for the BEST high quality sound ON youtube (Stereo; 1280 x 720)
this thread is super hypocritcal though
i think people just hating now cuz sampling is much easier and its becoming more harder for good producers to stand out

I have 1 song that I took a youtube cut... and it was only for shits and giggles... and out of lazyness. It was a pretty basic cut where quality doesn't matter what so ever in the end product. top it off I would never put that song on one of my "albums"... it was only for the humour of the track.


For serious songs, I dont start the song with the worst possible quality available... I try and begin the project on the right foot with the highest quality I can get my mouse clicking finger on.


That youtube video was really cool, and creative. The point wasn't made by having a well mix/mastered finished piece..... the niche was in the fact that it was made from compiling a bunch of youtube videos that people saw before.

i like that one track he has "Just a Lady"...

but hes not doing much other then searching youtubing for "Synth, Moog, Piano, Horns, Vocal, drummer, acoustic band" and cuts it up...

the end product is dope... but the processes is just not so fun, in my opinion at least.

i love it when i find a dope cut on a record but it also makes me angry when i get nothing off a record... its all part of the game...
