I've also got a question.
So is it possible to get a midi trigger keyboard (no sounds, just trigger) and use it to program the sounds within the 500 to the 500 sequencer just like with the pads?
What I would like to do is:
I have a grip of keyboard sounds on my cf already. But the 12 levels function just isn't dynamic enough to make using them worth it as far as trying to play a lead key section or a baseline etc.
I would like to get a small keyboard trigger and use it to play the internal sound into the internal sequencer in place of the pads.
Is this possible / easy?
And would it create a regular sequence that would stay intact and playable like a normal sequence after removing the keyboard trigger?
This can be done very easily. Just plug in the keyboard, and u just trigger the sounds like the pads.
If u try this, it seems like the sounds are out of order. To place the samples in the right order u go to Program-> note assignment-> and there's where u can put them in chromatic order. It won't change anything in the way u sequence. A midi note is a midi note, wheter it's triggerd by a pad or a key. As longs as the right notes are assigned to the right pads and/or keys
(if u plug in a midi keyboard u should also check out the instrumental stock programs. If u understand how u can built them, it's easy to make ur own instrumental programs u can play with ur midikeyboard.
