mpc 1000 and midi notes?

Hello, I am having an issue. I am recording a sequence from the mpc into logic. When I play the sequence back into the MPC, it plays totally different notes. I am sure it's something easy with how the mpc program is set up. Any advice? Thank you.

Check logic and how the midi map is set. GM or whatever. I had a similar issue with cubase. make sure both the MPC and logic call the notes the same.

I am sure that is the problem. I use bluebox to generate the akai programs and smoehow the gm settings are different. Thanks for the tip.
