Just wondering which famous producers are using the mpc 2500 lately...

I know about Pete Rock, and 9th Wonder (a vid was posted with him on the mp)

who else?

Don't write posts "what do you need it for..."

it's just for fun :)

peace

Pete Rock doesn't use a 2500. He bought the 4000, 3000, 2000XL and he hated all of them and that's why he still uses the 2000XL. He said the 4000 has too much going on and he couldn't figure it out and he read the manual forever and took it back. He tried the 3000 and he said that he didn't like that I either it wasn't user friendly enough for him. He said he doesn't like the 5000 and the 2500 he said there just too crazy and too much going on he likes simplicity.

Okay word cause I saw a video of him and Sean C & LV and he is talking about how he still uses the 2000XL & how he hates the 2500 & 5000 & 4000 and all that and he took them all back.

Sid Roams no longer uses The MPC2500. They are now strictly gone with Reason.

really?

dj khalil got everyone switching over to reason (dj babu, evidence, sid roams). dude prob has stock in the company now, haha.

that's crazy, sid roams and araab muzik have the hardest hittn drums of any producers i heard on the 2500. some of alchemist new shit bangs, but in some of the joints i heard the drums sound a little thin.

i guess you gotta use whatever works best for you and gives you the sound you like. for me it's the 2000XL and 60 all day.

to each his own, when you reach for that chrome.

Khalil got turned on to it Bab's he has been using it probably longer than most producers in the game.
