where to buy akai mpc 2500 or 5000?

my boyfriends birthday is coming up in May, and I really want to get him the akai mpc 2500. He always talks about how that and the akai mpc 5000 are his dream machines. I looked into it at christmas on ebay and they were so expensive. Does anyone know where I can get one affordably and how much they would be?? Used is fine as long as its in good condtion with nothing wrong with it. I am located in Cleveland Ohio so anything around here or online. Thanks! )

There they might have a refurbished one that'll be cheaper than a new. And when a model gets discontinued, they get rid of them cheap.
