Ok. You already know what audio and midi is. I dont care. I'll start at zero:)
I'll try to explain.

1. The MPC is a sampler thats the audio engine
2. The MPC is a sequencer thats the MIDI section.

If you save your song to a zip or cardreader or floppy you need to save the Program (with the samples) and the Song (with all the MIDI seqences)

Now if you want to transfer your song to the pc you can connect the audio outs of the MPC to the Audio Ins of your pc and record them.

Thats Audio

otherwise you can (for whatever reason) save the MIDI sequences as a MIDI file (.mid) to a zip or floppy and open that MIDI file in your Sequencer software on the pc.

peace

Hey there are much more annoing questions. Something like : how did xy this and that (enter dilla, madlib, T-pain for xy) :)

Q)If you wrote a song on an acoustic guitar how would you get it into a computer and mix/master it? A)You would grab a microphone and play the song into the mic and record it. Now apply that logic to the MPC. This is the most basic question next to how do I make the sound stop playing when I take my finger off the pad. Why do so many people get samplers without understanding that they are instruments? Why are people afraid of the audio outs?

okay. i'm not that dumb. i was just unsure so i wanted to clear it up. i rather look dumb trying to learn than look like a dumb ass who doesn't know what he's talking about.
