I am really digging those white screens at needlewerk.com
I am still trying to figure out all of the steps there is to remove the original screen and put in the new one. I saw Nym's video of the 1000 screen removal and install and that seemed easy enough but I heard installing the screen on the 2500 is different. I am sort of hesitant on the whole new screen install idea for the fear of **** my machine up though. Does anyone know of a step by step guide anywhere on how to do this, or if there is another thread that talks about it in detail? I found scattered bits here and there that talk about it but nothing really as conclusive as I had hoped to find... yet.

^^it will work..you just have to de-solder your ribbon and resolder it to the screens board..there you go,,but hong kong takes like 2 weeks to get here..u.s.....

plus those screens have a backlight, meaning the screen its self is not lit..

go to futurlec.com,there like 20 bux more but they are lit screens..

^^thats what im saying,,some screens have a backlight and some screens are lit themselves..its like the difference between the 2000xl and the 2500 screen...ones lit and one has a backlight.
