nICE SYNTH AND DRUM BREAKS SAMPLE

hi folks ! i'm lookin for dope and deep analog synths sounds mostly from the 70's and tough and hard drums sounds ( especially kicks and snare)i know u'll say that i have to dig by myself but i'm kinda waste my time diggin in the wrong direction these time need some advices so if anyone have some names to drop it would be great thanks a lot

You have to start somewhere, take some risks and buy things you think look cool. Look at what instruments are being played on the record. Anything that has credits for moog, ARP, synthesizer or programming etc. could have the synth stuff you're after. Start paying attention to the labels you like and the years you like. Then you can start learning names of people playing on the record like drummers etc. Nobody can do it for you. Read wax poetics, visit soulstrut.

Go to Last.fm type in 70´s electronica or something similair and start listening and writing shit down. Best online diggin system that Last.fm :P

I know you mentioned 70s but it sounds like you want some early 80s stuff to me.
Type 'David Joseph 'you cant hide your love' into youtube and have a listen. You need the 12" tho, the instrumental is killer. Tracey Weber 'Sure shot' is another one to look out for, you need the instrumental for that too. There are so many more, I could go on and on. Look out for records put out from around 81 to 83 on labels like West End, P&P, RCA, Prelude and SAM.

I don't know what kind of equipment you use, but you can find a lot of analog synth sounds as Reason refills; moogs are a good tag to search for. there are tons of free Refills available online.

In terms of drums, there is one site that's cheap and in my opinion has the best drum sample sounds anywhere. http://www.industrydrums.com, all they do is deal with kicks and snares. takes a lot of time out of digging for breaks. hope this helps brotha man

The demo beats might be generic but the drum samples themselves are bagnin' as hell, especially the snares. That Murda Snares 1 kit is crazy and so is the Just Blaze kit. I actually like the demo beats in the "Platinum Series" section.
