How do I...

In a 1000... how do I (and I'm not sure what the term is for it but I've seen it tons of vids...) set it so that when I hit one pad it turns another pad off??

set your "mute group"

i dont have the 1000 but im sure you have to hit mode and then programs and then params and then adjust the mute group

hit the pads that you want to mute and turn the value to each one at 1

Thanks a million!

With the 1000 u can easily switch ur whole program to mono= that all the samples cut eachother off.(program, params, in the right corner u will read the word 'poly' or 'mono', highlight it and u can change it when u need to)

But mutegroups will do the job as well, plus being familiar with mutegroups enables u to freak the pads in more different ways.
