I am trying to get my production company registered with ascap or bmi. which would be better to go with as far as registering a company? any suggestions or info would be much appreciated.

Both are about the same, but I went with ascap. No particular reason, just looked better to me.

I went with ASCAP, they have the largest payout to their artists.

Hit Wreckers Publishing (ASCAP 2004)

You can do both

Register under one with 1 company and under another with your other company. People have been doing this for years and its legal

I reg under BMI with my legal name and Ascap with my llc
