Hola!

bought me my first brand new mpc 500 :D
have some q's:

1st: how can i change the volume on my mpc 500? i adjusted the master level to the max, 0db, is there is no higher possibility? and yeah don't tell me its the gain knob, i mean the MAIN volume for the machine itself.
because when i hit the pads i don't hear or almost nothing.
same when i sample, i hear the sample like sh+t

2nd:when i sample from my turntable over the mixa into the mpc - sometimes i have no playback or signal coming in at all
when finishing the recording and wanting to asign it to a certain pad i pushed the DO IT button in order to save it, but i always here a preset pattern from the mpc.
why i can not hear my samples?

please be so kind and get back to me, i also have a cam - if showing is easier then explaining by typing..venga let me know asap - i am going loooony already, PG

Sounds like you maybe want to normalise or check your signalpath, on how to normalise check the manual. For your second question I think you need to turn of autoload so it does not load the preset patterns.

autoload..which section i can find that one? actually i played around and found out that each pad's volume work out with the quant. of velocity you do. so it's louder now, but still..
so let me now where this autoload function hides? ;) thanks man, PG
