Swing Question

The manual is not very good at explaining how to use this function. What are the proper steps to incorporate swing into a track?

Good question...I turn it up and down and don't hear a change, maybe I'm doing something wrong

u can use it on anything but def on hats. try using it on hats alone. drop an 8 bar loop with hats on the 1/16ths. then switch the swing from 50 to 55 to 60 to 65 and u'll def hear the difference. it literally gives the hats (or whatever) swing or delay.

yeah just select "DO IT" and it does it... you should def hear a change in timing if you start at fifty and go all the way up. FUNKY=TURN IT UP!

Do you mean do the hi hats on 1/16th T.C.?

yeah u can do that. start the seq and record some hats by simply holding down the note repeat from start to finish (8bars). then adjust the swing. u'll def notice the difference

I did hear the difference, but it was to fast for what i wanted. I usaully do 001.01.00-001.01.48, 001.02.00-001.02.48 and so on and the swing doesn't seem to affect it

usually when i use swing i set it at 65% gives it a nice jump
