i know this is prolly a the most simple question ever

all i want to know is how i can download a beat that i made on my mpc1000 to my computer so i can pull it up on my traction pro software in order to lay vocals on the beat. of course i already know how toconnect the mpc tothe computer and alldat. but when i try to pull up my saved sequences onto my computer it is telling me that it doesnt recognize the content. ive even tried to drag the sequence to a converter program that i have in order to convert it to mp3 form but the converter program cant read the file either. this has been a very annoying thing for me and im pretty sure its prolly very simple to do.

sequence files aren't audio files. an mpc is the only thing that is gonna read those files.
you need a recording interface to record audio files onto some sort of DAW (protools, garageband, ect.)
you might wanna check out presonus, m-audio, and many other products to see which interface you need

yeah its pretty simple. im assuming you do not have a interface

so.. do what i do.

resample.

you going to ask how to do that so...

just go the record window.
change it to main out.
and press play, let the song play, press stop. etc. etc.

it then saves as a WAV.

there you go.

not everyone has that luxury. so if i hook my shit straight to garage band i cant to it i gotta get like a mini m box or some kinda interface?
